ABOUT THE TEACHER

A Word from the Teacher~

There are no piano programs like mine. My AP curriculum was built on curiosity for the unknown, love for learning, and empathy for all who wanted to be their best selves regardless of their age, personality or talent.

The joy of my life is taking my students to places where they didn’t know existed for them. Very few get there musically and personal developmentally. They always surprised themselves and their parents.

Clients include the Dalton School, Gary Tuchman Family, Oren Family, Arthur Schlesinger Family, the Meyer Family, and young children who later successfully gotten into these schools: the Dalton School, Chapin, Brearley, the Collegiate, Horace Mann, Spence, Hunter, Trevor Day School, and Trinity.

Nancy Liu is a True Pioneer in Piano Education for the last 19 years. What was once thought impossible now is POSSIBLE.

A 3 ½ year old now can learn to focus in a one-on-one 40-minute lesson. These children can read and write their own music. They can play with both hands before they turn 4. Most importantly, they do all these amazing things with a smile on their faces.

All children (except age 1&2) can register in our Accelerated-Piano Curriculum where progress is up to 80x more depending on age and level.

Nancy is a believer that children with even average musical talents can reach great heights at a young age.

She really is a different kind of piano teacher.

She has conducted more than 20,000 lessons for children ages 3+. Most of these 20,000 were in experimental formats to challenge stereotypes about piano learning. She researched causes and their solutions to this century-old questions: Why do most children NOT succeed in learning piano.
